Ronald P. Sandmeyer, Jr.; Rod¡¯s older brother and Company President and CEO; said, ¡°The ¡®brother-thing¡¯ rarely works in companies. Even more rare is successfully navigating a business through three family generations. Rod and I have succeeded in both and, in fact, are now working hard on transitioning to the fourth generation of family leadership.¡±

¡°As we continue the process of transitioning to the next generation of leaders at our Company, we feel we are well positioned to continue the legacies of our founder, our grandfather, Paul C. Sandmeyer, and our father, Ronald P. Sandmeyer, Sr.,¡± said Ron.

Rod was active in a number of outside organizations during his career, including the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC), and served on the boards of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and CUE, Inc., an organization dedicated to assisting employers in establishing positive employee relations and forward-looking workplace practices.

Rod will remain active on the Company¡¯s board after retirement. He looks forward to spending more time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, traveling, cycling, hiking, and sitting on the beach at the Jersey shore.

For over 70 years since the year 1952, making ¡°Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloy, and Titanium Plate Products¡± has been, and remains, the Company¡¯s one and only business. ¡°We are singularly focused, and we know it as well as anyone else in the world,¡± says Ron Sandmeyer. Learn more at
